  • Welcome to Trupti's Craft Blog

Hello everyone, my name is Trupti More. I'm a self-taught paper quilling artist; refining my craft with repeated trials and practice. I find happiness in creating beautiful and colorful designs made from paper strips. Paper quilling involves strips that are rolled, looped, curled, and otherwise manipulated to produce shapes that combine to create designs. Quilling is an art form that dates back centuries and at one time was reserved for royalty. Now, people in many cultures and at many ages have access to quilling. Required tools and supplies are modest, yet the handiwork results in spectacular, textured, and colorful designs. While that sounds simple, quilling truly requires a lot of patience and an eye for color. There is no limitation to the designs that can be made and based on customer requests for customization, my collection has significantly grown over the years. My first home is India I have two master’s degrees in computer science but chose to stay home with my children after moving to America. It was important to me to have passions outside of motherhood, so I embarked on my relationship with handwork, learning origami, 3-d origami, painting, jewelry making, string arts, crochet, and finally quilling. I stumbled upon paper quilling art in 2012 and converted this passion into a business in 2016. In 2016 I also launched online and in-person workshops to share my beloved craft and the knowledge I’ve gained with others. In this blog, I will share some important updates and events with you. If you have any questions about quilling or quilling products then you can ask them here. I will happy to help you. Till next time browse my website and enjoy this beautiful art.
